Jingyan's Chingay reflection

When our teacher announced the chingay trip, i thought that it would be really boring and going there would be wasting my time. However, after going there, i realised i was wrong

When we reached there, we were told to seat down at a height, which means that the view was good. On the seat there was goodie bags, inside it there was a lot of stuff, including a scarf which said "one people" and a pom pom. As the performance started, diffrent people of different races were doing different dances. I was really amazed at their synergy. It showed that people of different races could work together perfectly and you do not have to be a Chinese to do Chinese dance, which showed that all races are free and have no restriction, after seeing Indians and Malays doing Chinese dance. After that, lots of big floats passed by and there was a lot of performers, doing different stuff, there are even firecrackers! It was my first time hearing it. Everything was so exciting, i cheered on and on. There was even amazing fireworks.

In conclusion, even though it was a tiring trip, i learnt a lot and the fun was well worth.
