Amelia's Chingay Reflection

Last month, we attended the Chingay Rehearsal Parade, also known as 妆艺大游行 in Chinese. This is my first time going and I was really impressed. We had to assemble in school at around 4.30pm and had early dinner at school. Then we took a bus to our destination. I had a lot of fun and felt that it was very interesting. The  parade was filled with colors, music and fun. It was something that I have not experienced before. This Parade also showed the different ciltures and showed that Singapore is a very multi-racial country. People of different races were performing for one dance, one performance. It also showed that Singaporean are very untied and work as one. I also cheered a lot during the performances. I was glad that I went for this Parade. It is really interesting and I hope that we would be able to go again next year.
